In this section I will share with you some interesting highlights over the last several years with the most recent at the top of the list: I do my best to keep this up but hope all understand sometimes life gets in the way.
On a positive note after being laid off of my job I decided to follow suggestions from friends and my daughter to start selling the beaded and handcrafted jewelry I have been creating since I started Belly Dancing in 1989. So now I have done just that and launched my jewelry business “The Desert Bee”. Take a few minutes and check out my designs! Also with my physical condition improving I went on a weight reduction program and have removed almost 40 lbs. since my mother’s funeral! I am very happy with this and endeavor to be back to my slim attractive self by my next birthday!
Well 2008 has been a year I will not forget! First, I discovered I had a health condition (low blood pressure) that caused my in-home accident May 25th. It was a duzzy of an accident! I passed out for several hours when I hit my head on my marble vanity and recieved a fractured cervical vertebrae, concussion, and lodged little crystals in my inner ear causing extreme vertigo. I also dislocated my left hip and caused a bulging disc in my lumbar spine! I can walk without a cane sometimes and my vertigo is getting better, but slowly. Second, my mother passed away from complications with her colon and lung cancer on August 26th and it devastated my world. I miss her very much. Then when I returned to my job on September 25th they laid me off on my second day back!

My dearly loved Aunt Ida Mae Huston passed on to her next plane of spiritual existence and this was a time for all of the family who loved her so to get together. It was a wonderful time of catching up and seeing those in the family we grew up with.
Also while we were visiting my sister Becky in Bloomington my Neice Heather and her husband Mark had a birthday party for their youngest son Zachary who turned 4 years old. It was nice meeting their friends and seeing family who lives in the area. Then another day we took the kids to McGrady’s Fun Park for some miniature golf and kiddie rides, it was a hoot!
During my summer vacation (2004) Faith and I attended a Red Hat Society event with my mother. The society went on a show boat supper cruise from the port in Branson Missouri. It was such a hoot with all of the members! The meal was nice and the entertainment delightful.
I attended the annual Show Low Car Show and it was really something to see all of these renovated cars. Many were chopped and/or remodeled to be roadsters, come enjoy some of the photos we took.
I also took my first trip to Hawaii, Maui to be specific. I stayed for 14 days at a condo located in Pukulani (a foothills area) on the island. What a beautiful and intriguing place to see as you will notice.
I have a collection of photos from the BIG fire in northeastern Arizona during June-July 2002 when Stephen and his son (my significant other at the time) were evacuated from their home in Show Low Arizona for 2 weeks!
