From my perspective hobbies are representative of ones creativity and expressive nature. Mine are belly dancing, costume design, collecting things old and new, historical re-enactment, and outdoor activities. They speak volumes about my love for music, color and effect, history, and nature. Volunteering time in my local community is important for me also. There is nothing quite so satisfying as sharing a greater knowledge of our surroundings and the past through Historical Re-enactment. Just seeing the resulting captivated thoughts on peoples faces brings a smile to mine (it's the teacher within).
