This is one of the first places we lived in Mountain View CA on Sherland Avenue and where Faith made many little friends.

This was our first duplex home on Sherland Avenue in Mountain View California

I planted pertty Petunia's and Marigolds all along the whole planter area in front of the duplex. It was soooo pretty.

I had David build redwood planter boxes to add flowers to our patio/yard area. It was so cozy and pretty.

I was really into raising Begonias and this was a beautiful Carmen I raised.

Faith was always a helper and enjoyed helping me pot the new prennials each season.

We didn't have much money but I decorated our home attractively to make it a pleasant place to live.

I put up a tall bookcase to create an entry area and keep soliciters from seeing in our home.

There was a breakfast island separating the living and kitchen spaces so I hung burlap material to create a separation.

This was David's powerful stereo equipment

Faith loved her room which I painted all of the furniture white and decorated with a daisey and green color scheme.

She loved to play house and I made sure she had everything a little girl would need to set up housekeeping for her babies.

This was our master bedroom all done in a royal blue and white baroque motif. It looked very sophisticated.

Not bad if I say so myself on a limited budget.

Like I said I painted all of the second hand furniture white for a nice crisp clean look.

The bathroom was done in more baroque motif with gold and white touches.

For a church carnival I rented a Clown costume to entertain the little ones. Faith and her little neighbor friend Tara were excited to be with me as a clown at the carnival.

The clown makeup took me two hours to get it to look just right in the portrayal.

Faith's two kitty's Midnight and Sugar wrestling around on the floor. They were such playful cats.

Sugar loved to sleep with Faith all curled up close to her face.

This was my first car, my little green bug!

Faith and Tara spent every summer day in their little swimming pools. I had to keep a hat on Faith because she was so fair as a strawberry blonde.

Back and forth from one pool to the other, crazy little girls!

Faith with her Fire Truck, boy she loved being a fire person and rode in it constantly.

Faith and Kira (whom I provided child care for) were always helping me with my planting activities.

Faith was so excited the morning of her 3rd birthday party, and the balloon blowing was a lot of fun for her.

Faith and Tara all ready for the party events.
