Entering the museum of ruins

One of the huge Prickly Pear cactus all a bloom at the entrance of the ruins.

This is what remains of the ball court

Just imagine the indians playing a game of our future "kick ball"

Very little remains of many buildings in the ruins

Adobe walls that are over 900 years old

Replica of an outdoor work area

The adobe homes were compact but quite functional

It is interesting how the combination of adobe outside and the wood poles inside kept the building quite cool

Some buildings had small troughs for running water

One of the cute little residents in the desert at the ruins.

Another interior view

Becky outside next to the attached outdoor work area

Of course Becky had me pose by one of the adobe homes.

AND I had her pose by one of the adobe homes.

Household utensils and containers

Another view of the interior

Boy this could be difficult to enter and exit as one grew older

A beautiful Ocitillo
