Here I will share with you views of the many dancing costumes I have created and also a few photos of the time I hosted a party in my home where I had it all decorated like a harem and served a middle eastern meal. It was a fun time! I have been Belly Dancing since 1988 when I first was introduced to “Tribal” belly dancing in the San Francisco Bay Area. Tribal style (or ethnic) is totally different from the “Cabaret” style which I enjoy more because of the wide variety of styles/colors and glamourous costume options. I was introduced to the Cabaret style when I moved to Phoenix, Arizona and joined a troupe.

It took many hours creating the bra and belt part of each costume. I first started with creating a gold and silver set since these two accent colors would coordinate with all of the scarves, skirts, and harem pants I would create. I have so many it is was hard to photograph all of them to show you. I have a new forest green bra and belt set which is stunning and compliments my hair and skin color. A turquoise set is still in the construction stage as I have created my own American Indian beaded design. If you are interested, you can browse some of my beaded jewelry designs I have on my site.

For the ladies visiting my sight, if you are interested with purchasing a bra and belt set I can create one for you. Just send me a full coverage firmly padded bra that fits you comfortably along with your hip measurement and we can start from that point.

I held a Belly Dancing party and decorated my living room to give the atmosphere of a Bedouin tent

Here I am posing with the first costume I made

Me with the blade! It is a dancing sword made to balance on my head.

Another of my creations in warm fall colors. This is my Autumn Lights costume.

Now this costume I made I call my Green Ice. It dazzles the eye with how it captures light. It took 3 months to string the beads and palettes.

It is quite spectacular to see!

A little closer look at the beading work.

This costume I purchased from Egypt and has become one of my favorites

Posing in my Sword Dancing costume a year later when my hair had grown longer.

My turquoise and pink set with the first Halter/Belt I bought in gold!
